After gaining a 2:1 BA hons in Theatre and Media Arts from the University of Plymouth Gem spent a couple of years living in Mallorca working with boats then Thailand teaching English.
Back in England and working within the boating industry again Gems love of jewellery and object d’art overcame her world and the pursuit to master an age old skill began! Three years later Gem now works as a jewellery designer and maker and the quest to continually absorb skills and knowledge moves forward under the guide of Flux n Flame.
Gem works mainly in silver and yellow gold and often likes to combine the two using reticulation to create sumptuous textures.This website is a work in motion and it's purpose right now is to introduce Gem as a designer and maker.
